Nanomaterials

Nanotechnology deals with the construction of materials, devices, and systems by engineering the matter at the nanometer length scale. Nanomaterials are highly crucial in the 4th industrial revolution (4IR) and realize new materials properties that bulk materials cannot have. One-dimensional (1D) nanomaterials produced by materials processing (i.e., electrospinning, hydro/solvothermal, solution-based growth) are attractive candidates for the construction of electrodes in advanced energy storage/conversion devices.
